sticker installation guide

STEP 1.
Thoroughly clean the surface area that you are wanting to apply this sticker to. Make sure it is free from dust or debris. You can use a windex or similar product for windows, or an alcohol based product for other surfaces. If you have a friend around to give you a hand with this - grab them!

STEP 2.
Find a smooth flat surface, and get an old credit card or similar firm blunt object. Place the sticker face-up and give it a really firm rub all over with the old credit card. This will help the sticker adhere to the top clear/beige transfer tape.

STEP 3.
Take the sticker over to the area in which you want to apply, and place it into position. You can use sticky tape or magnets to hold it in place. Once you have it sitting in the desired position, get a piece of masking tape, or similar material, and run it down the center of the sticker and onto the surface on either side to hold it into position.

STEP 4.
Fold over one side of the sticker over the center masking tape (but do not crease), and slowly peel off the backing paper. Peel the backing paper away at 180deg angle to the surface. DO NOT PULL THE BACKING PAPER UP AT 90 deg! Occasionally, part of the sticker may become stubborn and stuck on the backing paper. Don't worry, you can just fold the backing paper back down, give it a firm rub on this area, and try again. It will eventually come up. Slow and steady! If you do this step too fast, you may damage your sticker. Once you have removed the backing paper up to the center line, cut the backing paper off with a pair of scissors or a knife.

STEP 5.
Grab your blunt object, and start working it on from the center out to the edge. Do not pull tight or stretch the sticker when smoothing it on. This will ensure no air bubbles or crinkles occur.

STEP 5.
Repeat Step 4, and Step 5, but with the opposite half of the sticker.

STEP 6.
Once you have the entire sticker on, and you have given it a really firm rub all over, you are now ready to peel off the clear/beige transfer tape. Start at one corner, and start peeling it back very slow. Going too fast may damage your sticker.

STEP 7.
Now that you have taken off the transfer tape, you can inspect your sticker for bubbles. If you haven't got any bubbles, then well done! If you can see some small bubbles, don't worry - grab a sharp pin and pop them and smooth them down. This will not effect the sticker in any way.
