The Sticker Store recommends that the heat transfer vinyl's are applied using a heat press machine with controllable temperature and even heat dispersion. However, with careful application, they can be successfully installed with a household iron.

Iron Press Tips

  • FIRSTLY Remove the bottom clear tape layer from the underside of the print

  • Position the heat transfer print in the desired position on the garment

  • Put a thin towel between the heat transfer print, and your iron, this will heap spread the heat

  • Set iron to heat press temperature, and DO NOT use steam

  • DO NOT use a sweeping motion like ironing, FIRMLY PRESS DOWN only

  • If the print has not stuck to the garment, repeat the process with extra 10 seconds each time (not more heat)

  • These are a HOT PEEL product so the top clear tape layer needs to be SLOWLY peeled off the finished print while hot
